What is Palm Sunday?  This day marks the arrival of Jesus into Jerusalem and is so named because of the palm leaves that were laid in his path as he rode into town.  Palm Sunday is the first day of the last week of Lent and leads up to the crucifixion of Christ and his resurrection on Easter Sunday.

“Our Lord has written the promise of the resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in spring-time.” ~ Martin Luther.   No matter what your religious beliefs may be this is a wonderful time to take a moment to reflect on your life, notice the renewal that spring brings, and be thankful for all that is good.

During this time many churches practice the tradition of making crosses out of palm leaves in remembrance of Christ.  Here is a quick video of how you can do this. Have a blessed day!
